Dosage & Usage
A common dosing protocol is 20 mg per day, taken orally. Each mL of this liquid is 20 mg (assuming 20 mg/mL concentration). Use a dropper to measure 1 mL and squirt it into your mouth, swallow – preferably chase with water or juice as these solutions can taste bitter. Due to the extended half-life of RAD-150, some users take it every other day (e.g., 30 mg EOD) while still maintaining stable levels. However, daily dosing is fine and ensures consistent anabolic activity. It’s usually run in cycles of 8–12 weeks. Take it at the same time each day (morning or pre-workout are popular times). It can be taken with or without food. Shake the bottle before use if it’s a suspension to ensure even dosing. After dosing, avoid eating grapefruit or using St. John’s Wort (or other CYP inducers/inhibitors) as these can unpredictably affect SARM metabolism. In practical terms, it mimics the effects of testosterone on muscle – increased muscle fiber size, strength gains, and enhanced recovery – but it does so without converting to estrogen or DHT. The long ester means that it maintains more stable blood hormone levels, which could reduce side effect incidence and potentially make gains more steady. The presence of the ester doesn’t change the fundamental way it builds muscle: through the androgen receptor. It also, like RAD-140, has been noted to lower SHBG (sex hormone binding globulin) somewhat, which can increase free testosterone in the user’s body. It will still suppress natural testosterone, so a proper PCT (e.g., Clomiphene or Enclomiphene, Tamoxifen) is needed after the cycle to help recovery. Some might choose RAD-150 over RAD-140 if they want to dose less frequently or are looking for potentially slightly reduced side effects (though scientifically, sides should be similar to RAD-140). Side effects can include mild testosterone suppression, increased aggression or intensity in the gym, slight increases in blood pressure or cholesterol (temporary), and possible mild liver enzyme elevation (since it’s orally taken, though SARMs are not methylated like oral steroids).
